Liberty Stadium boss plans another La Liga raid.

Check in to Swansea City vs Tottenham Hotspur

Swansea City boss, Michael Laudrup, is gearing up a summer raid on his former club Getafe as the Swans look to continue their good form next season, TalkSport reports.

The Dane has won many plaudits for his shrewd acquisitions and attractive playing style this season that has seen them establish themselves in the Premier League and bring the Capital One Cup back to the Liberty Stadium.

And he looks set to continue his transfer policy of bringing in talented yet cut-price talent from Spain by raiding his his former club for midfielders Michel and Medhi Lacen.

Michel has already spent time in England when he spent a season at Birmingham City in 2010. The club were relegated from the Premier League that season and the club’s style of play under Alex McLeish meant that the Spaniard wasn’t able to showcase what he is capable of. He has impressed this season and is thought to be keen to link up with the Swans to prove that he can be a success in the Premier League.

Lacen is an Algerian international who was part of the squad that travelled to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup and this years African Cup of Nations.

A tough tackling defensive midfielder, he would add some much welcomed grit into the middle of the pitch for Swansea.

Both are thought to be available for cut price deals despite Lacen being watched by a number of European clubs.
