Spanish source Intereconmica believes that Real Madrid are readying moves to bring in a replacement for Jose Mourinho as the Portuguese boss edges ever closer to the Bernabeu exit doors.

The Spanish giants seem ready to wave farewell to the 50 year old, with Mourinho seemingly favourite to replace Rafa Benitez at Stamford Bridge, and have assembled a star studded list of very able candidates.

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly high up on just such a list with the 45 year old no doubt impressing during recent seasons at the Westfalenstadion, helping his side to back to back Bundesliga titles and the Quarter Finals of the Champions League this term.

Juventus boss has experienced an incredible amount of success over the past 18 months, clinching the Serie A title last term without losing a game and despite being ruled out of action with a ban for much of the current campaign he has returned to the Turin side’s dugout to once again guide the club to within a domestic championship whilst comfortably seeing his side into the last eight of the Champions League.

Mourinho’s former assistant Andre Villas-Boas is apparently being seen as a possible replacement for the ‘Special One’ though one wonders if Tottenham would be ready to allow the young boss to leave.

It’s likely that such a switch would further escalate speculation that Gareth Bale is Real Madrid bound.

The senior member of Real Madrid’s quartet of options is doing pretty well at PSG, heavily backed by the club’s Qatari owners it seems that the Parc des Princes side are set to bring an end to their 19 year wait for a Ligue 1 title and are still fighting at Champions League level to boot.
