A trio of Premier League sides are set to battle it out for the signature of Crystal Palace’s Glenn Murray this summer according to The Mirror.

The 29-year old striker has been in scintillating form this season, smashing in an incredible 30 goals for his Championship side.

That form has attracted the attention on a number of Premier League sides who are all set to tempt the player with the offer of top flight action come the summer.

Palace are desperate to hold on to their hitman. The club have offer Murray a new three-year deal, thought to be worth in the region of £1 million a year, in an attempt to ward off potential suitors.

But they may face a battle to retain his services as Fulham, Norwich and Aston Villa are all keen on Murrary, who is set to become the Championship’s highest ever goalscorer.

Murray’s form this season was recently acknowledged when he won the Championship Player of the Year award.

Much will depend on what divisions the clubs involved are playing in next season. Palace are currently mounting a strong push for promotion and will be in a better position to tempt Murray into staying should they be playing in the Premier League next campaign.
