Emirates Stadium side desperate to sign Eagles midfielder.
Arsenal are readying a £10m bid for highly rated Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams according to the Daily Mirror.
The Welsh international is apparently a player Arsene Wenger is desperate to sign and will hope to persuade the South London side to sell the teenager this summer having already sold Wilfried Zaha in January.
The Selhurst Park side may find themselves more compelled to listen to offers for the adaptable youngster, who can play in a central midfield role as well as out wide, if they fail to secure promotion to the Premier League.
Williams broke into the Eagles first team last term and has become a regular member of the Crystal Palace first team set-up this season, making 25 appearances in all competitions.
Wenger has regularly shopped in the English lower leagues and has seen the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Carl Jenkinson all make an impact following their respective moves to the Emirates Stadium in recent seasons.
The pint sized midfielder may well be tempted by a move to join the Gunners and £10m seems a fair price for a player with as yet no top tier experience.
