Turkish giants Galatasaray have admitted they have a fight on their hands to keep hold of in-form striker Burak Yilmaz and with Man United said to be keeping tabs on the 27 year old marksman the Istanbul side may indeed have a fight to retain his services this summer.

The Daily Express cite Man United are the most illustrious side tracking Yilmaz, who is not only the top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig but is also the joint top-scorer in the Champions League this term, tied with a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Gala Boss Fatih Terim stated on the matter: “It’s not going to be easy to keep him.

“He has targets but it will be his decision. Being wanted is a good thing, but we are fond of him and believe he will do great things for us in the future.”

Though Man United have a host of effective striking options Sir Alex Ferguson may well feel he has to plan ahead in case Mexican bit-part player Javier Hernandez looks to push for a Man United exit.

Having scored 26 goals in 31 matches in all competitions one would imagine £10m is more than fair price to pay for Yilmaz, who may well have ambitions beyond his homeland.
