Belgian stopper uncertain if he will return to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibault Courtois is being made to wait before finding out where he will be plying his trade next season according to talkSport.
The Belgian youngster has been on loan at Atletico Madrid this season where he has been putting in a number of impressive performances.
That has led to reports that the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona are monitoring the availability of the player but Chelsea are thought to be keen to hang on to player.
But Courtois is keen to play first team football and knows his chances at Stamford Bridge are likely to be limited while current number one Petr Cech remains at the club.
Reports in recent weeks had suggested that Chelsea had agreed a deal with Ateltico Madrid for Courtois to return to them for another season on-loan but it now appears the Premier League side are keen to wait for the opinion of their new manager before making a decision.
Chelsea are currently considering replacements for interim boss Rafa Benitez.
A host of top quality names have been linked with post with current Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho the fans and bookies’ favourite for the job. The Portuguese boss looks certain to leave the Spanish giants at the end of the season and reports last week suggested preliminary talks have already begun over a return to Stamford Bridge.
