Check in to Fiorentina vs AC Milan

QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar has emerged as a summer target for AC Milan according to The Mirror.

The London club pulled off something of a coup last summer when they announced the Brazilian would be arriving at the club on a free transfer from Italian giants Inter Milan.

Cesar has put in a number of impressive performances for the club but they have not proved enough to lift QPR out of the relegation zone.

The club remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table and currently sit seven points from safety with just seven games left to play.

Harry Redknapp’s side know that they are likely to be playing Championship football next season which will lead to a number of the club’s high profile stars leaving the club come the summer.

Redknapp is thought to be more willing to let Cesar go than others as he also has Robert Green in his squad who performed well earlier in the season when Cesar was injured.

AC Milan are ready to offer Cesar an escape route from Loftus Road and the Brazilian is likely to be tempted by the offer as he looks to make sure he is playing at the top level in preparation for next summer’s World Cup.
