Former White Hart Lane and Etihad Stadium man could be heading back to the English top tier.

Former Spurs and Manchester City defender, Vedran Corluka, could be making a return to England next season according to Sky Sports.

Both Everton and West Bromwich Albion are said to be interested in bringing him back just a year after he left North London for Lokomotiv Moscow.

The 27-year-old has impressed under his former national team boss, Slaven Bilic and the players agent, Niki Vuksan said that it’s not only Premier League sides that are interested in the player.

“There is nothing strange in the fact that a number of European clubs are interested in my client,” he said, “Corluka is a very talented player and his advantage is that he is also a very universal player, he can play in many positions.

“But I don’t want to talk a lot about his future. He has a long-term contract with Lokomotiv Moscow and these things are difficult to predict. Let’s wait until the end of the season, when everything will become much clearer.”

Corluka joined Manchester City in 2007 before moving to Tottenham a year later, where he made over 100 appearances during a four year spell. He spent part of last season on loan at German side Bayer Leverkusen after falling out of favour at White Hart Lane and joined Lokomotiv last summer for £5.5 million.
