Blackpool have warned clubs interested in their young star Tom Ince not to expect to be able to sign the player cheaply according to Sky Sports.

The Championship side are currently being managed by Ince’s dad, Paul, and the former England international has claimed he believes his son to be worth at least £25 million.

Ince senior pointed to the deal that will see Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha join Manchester United for £15 million this summer.

The Blackpool boss suggested that if Zaha was worth such a large amount, his son must be worth at least £25 million.

Ince junior was strongly linked with a move away from the club during the January transfer window.

The player was thought to be close to joining Liverpool only for a move to break down after the two clubs failed to agree a fee for the player.

Liverpool are thought to still be interested in the player but Brendan Rodgers may find himself restricted in what he can do after being told by the Liverpool hierarchy that he will have just £20 million to spend on new recruits this summer.

Tottenham are thought to be ready to swoop for the player should Liverpool pull out of the race for the England under-21 star.
