PSG are monitoring the availability of Zenit St Petersburg’s Hulk according to Tutto Mercato Web.

The Brazilian striker has become disillusioned with life in Russia and is hoping to secure a move away from the club come the summer.

Hulk has endured a difficult spell at Zenit ever since signing last summer from Porto in a deal thought to be worth around £50 million.

The Brazilian’s arrival reportedly caused unrest in the Zenit dressing room with the club’s more established stars unhappy with Hulk’s significantly higher pay package.

The striker then fell out with Italian coach Luciano Spaletti leading to the player declaring his intention to leave the club.

Hulk was forced to remain in Russia during the January transfer window though as FIFA regulations prevent a player from playing for more than two clubs during the same season.

Hulk has also been the victim of racial abuse from the club’s fans who are unhappy with a black player representing the club.

PSG are ready to offer the striker an escape route from his Russian nightmare but are first waiting to discover the availability of Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney.

Should a move for the England striker fail to materialise, PSG are ready to make an approach to Zenit for Hulk.
