Udinese striker Odion Ighalo is keen to secure a summer move to the Premier League according to Sky Sports.

The Nigerian striker is currently out on loan at Spanish side Grenada where he has been putting in a number of impressive performances.

The forward was the club’s top scorer last season and has been replicating that form again this season.

A number of European sides are thought to be monitoring Ighalo’s availability but the player has revealed he is keen to move to the Premier League.

Swansea and Wigan are thought to be ready to offer Ighalo his chance in England. Swansea’s sophisticated network of Spanish scouts have been running the rule of Ighalo and believe his style of play to be well suited to the physical requirements of the Premier League.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is also a firm admirer of the player but knows that any move is dependent on the Latics retaining their Premier League status.

The 23 year old has found his first team opportunities at parent club Udinese limited and is keen not to return to the Serie A side. The player has spent the last three seasons out on loan but is thought to now be keen to secure a permanent move away from the club.
