Real Madrid are considering making a big money move for Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez.

The Spanish giants are keen to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer.

Their strike pair Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain have both been strongly linked with moves away from the club this summer.

Madrid are hoping Tevez could help them mount an improved bid for the La Liga title next season after a poor start to the current season saw them fail to present a serious challenge to their bitter rivals Barcelona.

Tevez is thought to be considering his options at the Etihad Stadium. The striker has enjoyed a tumultuous relationship with the club after going on strike following his refusal to come on as a substitute during a game with Bayern Munich.

The player went on self-imposed exile to Argentina before eventually patching things up with the club and helping them to their first Premier League title.

But Tevez has found himself longing for a move away from Manchester and his recent sentence for driving without insurance could pave the way for a summer exit.

Tevez was ordered to carry out 250 hours of community service for the offence and would need special permission from the UK courts were he to leave the country before completing the order.

Carlos Tevez has been in good form of late and his record of 58 goals from 90 Premier League starts speaks for itself and a move to join the Spanish giants may well tempt the 29 year old.
