Reports in recent days have suggested that Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp could be set to return to the club.
The former Dutch international is currently working as a youth coach at Ajax having taken a number of his coaching badges since his retirement.
Arsenal youth team coach Liam Brady is set to retire at the end of the year and the Gunners have lined up Bergkamp as his replacement.
They are hoping he can use his connections with Ajax and Fischer to persuade the player to make a switch to the Premier League.
Fischer has become one of the hottest young properties in Europe and Arsenal know they are likely to face competition for the player’s signature.
