Abdelaziz Barrada reveals he is looking to leave the La Liga side.
Abdelaziz Barrada has put Arsenal and Tottenham on high alert after revealing his desire to move on from Getafe according to talkSport.
The Moroccan midfielder has been in fine form for the La Liga side this season and has put in a number of impressive performances.
That has not gone unnoticed and a number of top European sides are thought to be monitoring his availability.
But reports in Spain are suggesting that Arsenal and Tottenham are leading the chase for the highly-rated 23 year old.
Getafe are desperate to hold on to Barrada and are likely to put up a strong fight to keep him.
But they may have to come to terms with the player leaving the club after he revealed he is keen to be playing Champions League football.
Barrada is reportedly keen to prove himself at the highest level and is looking for a move to one of Europe’s big clubs.
Barrada was unapologetic about his ambition stating that every player dreams of playing in Europe’s elite club competition.
The race for the player’s signature now puts even more pressure on the two clubs to secure a top four finish.
Tottenham currently lead Arsenal in fifth by two points but the Gunners have a game in hand on their North London rivals.
