Italian giants keen to bring Gabon hitman to San Siro.
Inter Milan are thought to be leading the chase for St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang according to talkSport.
Aubameyang has become one of the most sought after strikers in Europe after a string of impressive displays for St Etienne.
His goals have fired the club into contention for a top four finish and a place in next season’s Champions League.
The French club know they are unlikely to be able to hold on to the player for much longer with a host of top European sides thought to be ready to make summer bids for the player’s signature.
A number of Premier League sides are thought to be monitoring the player’s availability including the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle.
The player, dubbed the ‘African Neymar’ on account of his clinical finishing and trademark Mohawk hairstyle, has previously admitted he would be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
But English clubs face stiff competition for the player’s signature with PSG keen to keep the player in France.
It now appears Inter Milan may have stormed ahead of their rivals in the race for Aubameyang after tabling a concrete bid to St Etienne. The club reportedly turned down their 10 million euro offer but the two sides remain locked in negotiations.
