Young striker linked with interest from a number of Premier League sides.
Newcastle and Everton target, Amido Balde, is not getting over excited at the prospect of a summer move to the Premier League TalkSport reports.
The 21-year-old is considered as one of Portugal’s brightest talents and has displayed a remarkably level head in the face of continued heavy speculation linking him with a move away at the end of the season.
Balde has scored nine goals in 18 games for Vitoria Guimaraes this term and has been continually linked with a move despite only joining the club last season.
“I am playing well and scoring goals to help the team.”My main focus is on playing well for Vitoria and I do not have any knowledge about clubs who are interested in me,” he said.
The Portuguese under-21 international began his career with Sporting Lisbon but failed to make a single first team appearance in the capital. Loan moves to Santa Clara, Badajoz and Cercle Brugge followed but he found a home at Vitoria last summer where he joined on a two-year deal.
Everton and Newcastle are said to be the favourites to land his signature as both are in need of renewed firepower.
Everton have struggled in front of goal this term as Kevin Mirallas, Victor Anichibe and Nikica Jelavic have all had less than impressive campaigns in front of goal and Newcastle have suffered since letting Demba Ba leave in January.
