Roma’s Miralem Pjanic has poured cold water on speculation linking him with a move away from the club according to talkSport.

The player has been linked with a move to Manchester City after his Bosnian international team mate, Edin Dzeko, heaped the praise on the talented midfielder.

Dzeko revealed that he would almost certainly chose to stay at City were they to bring Pjanic to the Etihad Stadium.

Dzeko has been strongly linked with a summer move away from City but such is his admiration for Pjanic, he would reconsider his departure were he to arrive at the club.

Roma have been struggling this season in Serie A and are facing up to the prospect of missing out on European competition next season.

That has led to speculation linking a number of the club’s high profile names, including Daniele De Rossi and Pablo Osvaldo, with a move away from the Italian capital.

But Pjanic dismissed the rumours that he could be one of the players leaving the club this summer.

The midfielder insisted he is happy with life in Rome and is proud to wear the club’s shirt. Pjanic stated that he was flattered by Dzeko’s praise and would like to play in the same team with him at some point in the future, but remained committed to Roma for the time being.
