Manchester City beat Chelsea by a single goal in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley Stadium and will meet Wigan Athletic in the final.
The West London side began the match on the back foot, with Man City far more competitive in the early stages.
Samir Nasri profited from a classic Yaya Toure bulldozing run to bundle the ball home, and just after the break Sergio Aguero doubled Man City’s lead with a header from Gareth Barry’s cross.
Demba Ba’s acrobatic volley made things interesting in the closing stages, but despite pushing hard, Chelsea could not find the equaliser.
