Gunners and Liverpool both tracking Millwall star, while the Champions are also said to retain an interest.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are preparing for a summer tussle for Millwall’s teenager wonderkid Fred Onyedinma, reports the Daily Star.
The 16-year-old starlet has been watched by scouts from a host of top flight outfits after impressing for the Lions youth teams this term.
The tabloid reports that it is now a three-horse race to land the young attacking midfielder, with the Gunners preparing to make the first move, in a bid to keep Onyedinma in London.
Onyedinma has already trained with the FA Cup semi-finalists’ first team squad and has netted twice in his last four games for the Championship outfit’s under-21 side.
But Onyedinma is yet to sign a professional deal at the New Den so the Premier Leageu giants would only have to pay Millwall compensation to land the playmaker, believed to be set in the region of £220k.
