United to plan for title number 21.Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be given an astonishing £50 million warchest this summer as the club prepare to challenge for their 21st Premier League title.

United secured their 20th championship on Monday following the 3-0 defeat of Aston Villa and the club are wasting no time in preparing for the next one.

With a number of players rumoured to be leaving at the end of the season Ferguson has drafted up a list of potential replacements.

Wayne Rooney’s future is still uncertain with PSG favourites to land the England international. Nani and Anderson are expected to head back to Portugal whilst veteran maestro Paul Scholes will retire for a second time.

But United see Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski as the ideal man to replace Rooney and they are refusing to give up on the chase for Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao, who had largely been tipped to join Chelsea.

Ferguson will also make a bid to take Everton left back Leighton Baines away from Goodison and give him the chance to win some trophies. The club had been linked with a move for the England man last summer but ended up plumping for Alexander Buttner instead. However, Ferguson believes that Patrice Evra is no longer the player he was and will look to replace him.

There will be a major shake up at Old Trafford this summer. The club have already landed Crystal Palace forward Wilfred Zaha and with many comings and goings this summer fans can look forward to an exciting transfer window.
