West Brom will look to land Man City bench warmer on a season long loan deal next term according to the Daily Express.

Predictably the former Swansea City man has barely had a look-in since his summer move to the Etihad Stadium, with the 23 year old making just two Premier League starts thus far this season, and a possible loan move could well help to re-ignite the attacker’s career.

Steve Clarke has greatly benefited from loaning players in, the success of Chelsea striker’s temporary switch being a case in point, though the Baggies boss will apparently have to battle fellow Scottish manager’s David Moyes and Paul Lambert with both Everton and Aston Villa also interested in the one time Chelsea man.

Sinclair represented Team GB at the 2012 Olympics and secured a move to the 2011/12 Premier League winners after a good couple of campaigns with Swansea City led to a £6.2m move to Man City last August.

Roberto Mancini will no doubt be looking to trim his Man City squad with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play guidelines beginning to bite next season and may well be open to loaning out, or possibly even selling, Sinclair who has thus far failed to impress the Italian enough to warrant even a bit-part role in his plans.
