Portuguese ace won’t get caught up in speculation.
Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to keep quiet over where his future may lie by refusing to be drawn into wild speculation, Sky Sports reports.
The 27-year-old’s current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu runs until 2015 but doubts have been cast over whether he’ll see it through to the end this season with a return to former club Manchester United rumoured to be on the cards.
Ronaldo is aware of his situation, and Real, understandably, want to keep him beyond that, but he is remaining tight lipped over what his future may hold.
“I have two more years on my contract, I am not concerned about that,” he said after Real’s Champions League semi final exit to Borussia Dortmund.
“I want to win wherever I am. That is what I want most, I am not concerned about renewing.”
He also brushed aside speculation concerning the future of Jose Mourinho, who, like himself, has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League.
“I do not know. Sincerely, I do not know.”
“I do not have to talk about other people, I am just concerned about the team and myself and that is all. The future of other players, or other coaches, does not concern me.”
