Old Trafford side offered chance to sign Argentine international in cut-price deal.
Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly been offered Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria for just £15m and could be seen as an ideal replacement for seemingly exit bound wide-man Nani according to the Metro.
Man United could well be ready to make a move for the 25 year old at that price given that the Argentine international is still one of Europe’s most impressive wide attackers despite a fairly average season at the Bernabeu this term.
Only Mesut Ozil provided more assists in La Liga last season and though Jose Mourinho has apparently grown exasperated by Di Maria’s displays of late the former Benfica man has still managed to rack up nine goals and ten assists in all competitions this season.
Given that the aforementioned Nani, as well as both Luis Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, have all failed to impress during the current campaign a move to bring in the talented wide-man may well be taken up by Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Bernabeu side are set to offload a number of high-profile players this summer with Gonzalo Higuain also said to be on his way out.
Real Madrid spent nearly £30m to bring Di Maria to Spain in June 2010 and he has gone on to make 132 appearances, scoring 24 goals and providing 56 assists in the process.
