Young Ajax attacker Viktor Fischer has played down speculation linking him with a move away from the club this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The 18-year-old has been heavily linked with moves to Manchester United and Bayern Munich following a good season with the Eredivise champions that has seen him bag 10 goals in 23 encounters, but he has insisted that he won’t be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

He is considered as one of the brightest talents in Europe at the moment, and like his teammate and compatriot, Cristian Eriksen, he is wanted by a number of big sides from around the continent and has been watched by several clubs over the course of the season.

However, displaying a level head atop young shoulders, he has shunned the speculation linking him with a move away by stating that he still has a lot to learn in Amsterdam and a long way to go before he even begins to think about a move away.

“I have a lot to learn in Amsterdam. I think I’m a wise guy. Only when you’re 25 do you show how good you really are,” he told Dutch magazine Voetbal International.

“I have accomplished nothing here. It would be arrogant if I thought I was done here.”

Fischer is under contract at the Amsterdam ArenA until 2017.
