Champions League finalists interested in Kevin De Bruyne.
Borussia Dortmund are targeting a move for Chelsea youngster Kevin De Bruyne, who has had an impressive season on loan in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen.
The 21-year-old Belgian is a clear talent, though his future at Stamford Bridge looks bleak due to an intense competition for places in the team’s attacking midfield.
Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Oscar already stand in the way of De Bruyne, and Chelsea are even rumoured to be adding Bayer Leverkusen’s Andre Schurrle to the mix in the summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Express, De Bruyne welcomes the interest of Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund, who see him as an ideal replacement for Bayern Munich-bound attacking midfielder Mario Goetze.
The German playmaker agreed last month to join the Bundesliga champions, and Dortmund need a replacement for one of their most influential players.
They have also been linked with Sevilla winger Jesus Navas, though he is known to have problems with homesickness, and has stayed at his home town club Sevilla for his whole career so far.
Chelsea may regret letting De Bruyne leave, as the Belgian looks to have a bright future in the game and could show it immediately in a strong Dortmund side.
