Dortmund and Gunners in for Sevilla star.
Borussia Dortmund will compete with Arsenal for the signing of Sevilla winger Jesus Navas, according to talkSPORT.
The talented Spaniard has been a target for a number of top clubs in the past, though his clinical homesickness has proved a stumbling block in a possible move away from his hometown club.
There’s no denying his ability though, and with both Dortmund and Arsenal in need of new signings to rebuild for next season, the 27-year-old could be a subject to a bid from both clubs.
Dortmund have already lost star attacker Mario Goetze to rivals Bayern Munich for next season, while Arsenal could do with extra options in attack following a mixed campaign from the likes of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott, while Lukas Podolski has been linked with a summer move to Galatasaray.
Navas would prove useful at the Emirates Stadium, as his preference for playing on the right flank could see Walcott move centrally, there the England international is said to prefer playing. With 20 goals this season, the would-be striker may have a point.
However, the lure of success at Dortmund may be more tempting for Navas, as the Bundesliga side have won two league titles recently and are in this season’s Champions League final.
