QPR midfielder Esteban Granero has finally admitted that he will be leaving the club this summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League, talkSPORT reports.

The 25-year-old had previously suggested that he was considering staying with the West London club to help them bounce straight back but after careful consideration he has realised that going from Champions League to Championship in the space of year isn’t for him.

“Again it will be a summer with little stability. You will have to wait until the end of the season and talk to the club. We will see what is best for all,” he said.

“For me the most important thing is football. I’ve never given priority to economic issues or other things.”

“Now I do not plan to play in the second tier because I think it is not the place for me. And I mean that in the most humble way, but it’s how I feel.”

“In the summer we will see what happens. The Premier experience has been very good and I would love to play here more.”

Last week news broke that Spanish side Real Betis were hoping to be bringing him back home.
