PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti is looking increasingly likely to take over from Jose Mourinho at the Bernabeu this summer and according to the Marca the Italian manager has already his sights on Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

The 33 year old Italian schemer has a year to run on his current Juve contract but will be offered a three year deal by the Spanish giants as they look to conduct something of a summer squad shake-up.

The cultured midfielder has been pivotal in Juventus’s return to dominance, helping Antonio Conte’s side to back to back Serie A titles in his two seasons at the Turin side.

Despite his advancing years Pirlo has made a tremendous impact since his move to Juventus from AC Milan, providing 22 assists in his 83 starts for the club.

Pirlo may be tempted by the chance of a move to join Real Madrid having played his entire career in his native Italy and a chance to reunite with Ancelotti at the Spanish giants could be a move that excites the talented midfielder.

Ancelotti has helped PSG to their first Ligue 1 title in almost 20 years but is still said to be a hot favourite to fill the soon to be vacant Real Madrid managerial post.
