Left-Back – Leighton Baines (Everton)
Consistent as ever the England man is as always competent at the back but even more effective going forward. Received 19% of your votes.
Centre-Back – Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham)
Belgian defender has worked well at both the centre of defence and at left-back but got the vote in our centre-back poll, managed 14% of the vote.
Centre-Back – David Luiz (Chelsea)
Brazilian may have impressed many with his foray into a defensive midfield role but was selected by our readers to sit alongside Vertonghen in a very trusty central defensive pairing. 21% of centre-back vote.
Right-Back – Rafael (Man United)
Perhaps the most improved player of 2012/13 the young Man United defender has made the Old Trafford right-back spot his own this term. 18% of your votes in our full-back poll.
