Corinthians Midfielder Paulinho Admits Turning Inter Milan Down Would Be Hard

Corinthians midfielder Paulinho is said to be keen on a move to Italian giants Inter Milan, according to Goal.com.

The midfielder has long been linked with a move to the Nerazurri and would like to move to Serie A during the summer.

The 24 year old is openly courting Inter and has invited the club to make an offer for him.

“Inter are a club well known all over the world. This is where Ronaldo and players such as Julio Cesar, Lucio and Maicon played. Who would not want to wear the Inter jersey?” said Paulinho.

The midfielder has played for Corinthians since 2010 and currently has a contract with the club until 2015.

Paulinho has played for the Brazilian national team 12 times, scoring 3 goals and has interested in number of clubs throughout Europe, meaning their is likely to be competition for the midfielders signature.

Paulinho is not the only midfielder that Inter Milan have been linked with.

The club are understood to have submitted a bid for Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda, however they are set to have competition for the Moroccan, with city rivals AC Milan said to be interested along with Aston Villa, Athletico Madrid and Turkish club Galatasaray.

New manager Walter Mazzarri is set to have a busy first summer in the job.
