Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo has denied that he knows anything about a potential swap deal involving himself and Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez, Sky Sports reports.

The Brazilian international has failed to establish himself in Italy and has spent the past season on loan with Turkish side Galatasaray, but now faces an uncertain future now that he has returned to the Old Lady.

City’s Tevez has been consistently linked with a move away from the club this summer and reports in Italy have suggested that Juve are preparing a summer swoop for the Argentine international with Melo heading in the opposite direction.

However, Melo has admitted that he is in the dark with regards to his future and claims to know nothing of the links with the Premier League outfit.

“To be honest I know nothing [about Manchester City],” he said.

“I have a few days holiday now, the season was very stressful and now I get all this transfer stuff at the end, and I will end up not enjoying my holidays.

“This week will be decisive, I’ll talk to my lawyer and see what is concrete, and then decide.”

Galatasaray are also thought to be keen on keeping hold of him too, and he has admitted that he would be open to staying in Turkey.

“If I go back, I would be very happy and if not, I will keep supporting them.

“The idea for me now is to join a side that will allow me to win titles.”
