Galatasaray have given up in their pursuit of Manchester United winger Nani according to Goal.com.

Nani is thought to be available for sale this summer and the Turkish club reportedly bid £6 million for the Portuguese international.

However, that bid was rejected and Galatasaray will not pay the £8.5 million that United are demanding.

Nani’s contract is set to expire next summer and the winger has already stated that his future may lay away from Old Trafford.

AS Monaco are thought to be interested in signing Nani and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has always admired the Portuguese winger.

Arsenal have a record transfer budget to spend on players this summer and Wenger may decide to bid for a player he has always had his eye on.

Nani arrived at Manchester United in 2007 and has been the subject of frustration during his time at the club, with amazing skill and wonderful goals followed by abject performances.

It appears that new manager David Moyes is not interested in keeping Nani at Old Trafford and would like to free up some funds by selling the winger.

Nani has only made 7 starts all season for United, with one being in the Champions League against Real Madrid where he was sent off as United crashed out of the competition.
