New Monaco striker Falcao expects that the French club will continue to be busy in the transfer market this summer according to Goal.com.

The 27 year old striker made the move to Monaco last month, with the French club paying Athletico Madrid 47 million euros.

The striker is enjoying life at his new club and expects to see more new faces come in during the course of the summer.

“We want to be playing at a high level of European football and I look forward to other top players arriving at the club in the coming weeks,” said Falcao.

The striker was joined at Monaco by highly rated Porto players James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho and the club will continue to search for new players this summer and have been linked with several high profile signings.

Want-away Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is reportedly a target for Monaco and the French club have the money to offer the England striker whatever he wants.

Monaco have also been linked with a big money move for Real Madrid striker Cristano Ronaldo and again the club can offer the player any wages he requires.

The club will face competition for the two players from French rivals Paris St Germain, who recently won their first Ligue One title since 1994.
