Chelsea play-maker Juan Mata insists he has heard nothing from the club about the possibility of him moving away this summer according to Goal.com.

Mata had a successful season at Chelsea, being one of the clubs stand out players as they won the UEFA Cup.

However, speculation has mounted that the Spaniard could be on his way out of the club this summer, with new boss Jose Mourinho seeing him as dispensable along with defender David Luiz and striker Fernando Torres.

It seems as though the player knows nothing about the reports and is looking forward to a new season at the club.

“Nobody at Chelsea has told me that Mourinho wants me out,” said Mata.

It would be a surprise to see the Spaniard leave Stamford Bridge this summer having been such an important part of the team last season.

If Mata were to leave, many of Europe’s top clubs would probably bid for the Spaniard, with Manchester United known to have admired Mata before he went to Chelsea.

The futures of Torres and Luiz look more likely to lie away from Stamford Bridge, with Spanish champions Barcelona known to be interested in both the Chelsea players.
