Check in to Transfer Window: Done Deal Alerts

Blackpool manager Paul Ince has said that it will take a substantial offer to prize his son and star winger Tom Ince away from Bloomfield Road this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The 21-year-old came close to joining Liverpool in the January transfer window but Blackpool managed to keep hold of their man, however, he has been heavily tipped to move on this summer with a number of Premier League sides reported to be interested in landing his signature.

Any interested party may have to cough up considerably, though, should they want to take him away from the seaside club as Blackpool don’t intend to cash in on the under-21 international for another 12 months.

“We knew there would be a lot of interest in Thomas and that’s proving to be the case,” Ince senior said.

“But speaking to him, he will be happy to come and play here again. I’m not saying he doesn’t want to go and play in the Premier League because I know one day he will.

“If we can keep him for the next 12 months, then it will save us from looking elsewhere.

“We’d like to keep him but if someone makes a ridiculous offer we’ll have to look at it. Fingers crossed he’ll be here again next year.”
