Carlos Tevez hopes to make a move to AC Milan this week and former City striker Robinho could hold the key according to the Daily Mirror.

Robinho is set to complete a move back to Brazilian club Santos this week for a reported fee of £5 million and Milan could use that money in a bid to sign Tevez.

The striker has been a target for AC Milan for awhile now, with the Italian club close to signing the Argentine last year.

If a move does go through, Tevez could link up with another former Manchester City striker, Mario Balotelli, who joined AC Milan from City in January.

Juventus are also thought to be interested in signing Tevez and are set to open talks with Manchester City this week.

Tevez is reported to be willing to take a pay cut in order to seal a move to one of the Italian clubs.

The Argentine’s contract at City is thought to be around £100,000.

Manchester City will need to find a replacement for Tevez and are hoping to lure Napoli striker Edinson Cavani to the Etihad, although they face stiff competition from Real Madrid.
