Liverpool will tell their want-away striker Luis Suarez to put in an official transfer request if he really intends to leave according to the Daily Mirror.

Suarez has made daily statements about his future since being away on international duty and continues to flirt with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Liverpool have got fed up with this and have told the striker to put in a transfer request and stop flirting with Real Madrid.

In his latest comments, Suarez said that he “would give his heart and soul to Real Madrid” and he is worried about the lack of Champions League football at Liverpool.

Suaez has a clause in contract which states that he can talk to a club that bids £40 million but Liverpool have had no official offers for Suarez and want the situation surrounding the striker sorted sooner rather than later.

Boss Brendan Rodgers is fed up with the current situation and will tell Suarez that although the club doesn’t want to see him go, he should hand in a transfer request if he sees his future laying away from Anfield.

Rodgers hopes the situation will be sorted out before the clubs pre-season tour to Asia.
