Manchester United winger Nani has hinted that his future may lie away from Manchester United according to the Daily Mirror.

However, the winger has also said that if he did leave United, it would be for another big club and ruled out a move back to Portugal at this time in his career.

Nani has been linked with Arsenal, Monaco, Juventus and AC Milan.

The winger only has one year left on his contract and reports suggest that United are happy to let the Portuguese star leave Old Trafford for around £8 million.

In a recent interview, Nani said, “I will think about what is best for me. I have respect for the Portuguese  clubs – especially Sporting Lisbon, but also Benfica and Porto – but I don’t  think that is viable”.

“I think my level at the moment is different.”

The winger has been a frustrating figure at United since he joined in 2007.

He was seen as another Cristano Ronaldo, quick and skilful but his career has been blighted by poor form despite the odd spectacular goal.

Monaco appear to front-runners for the Portuguese internationals signature and could give him the first team opportunities that he has lacked at Manchester United.

David Moyes is set to strengthen his new squad this summer and has been linked with several central midfielders, including Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas.
