A look at the key fixtures in the 2013/14 season for Bolton.
After narrowly missing out on a playoff place in 2012/13, Bolton will be hoping a better start this time round can get them back to the top flight again quickly, after a memorable ten-year stay in the Premier League.
Missing out on 6th place only on goal difference, the ingredients are there for Dougie Freedman’s side to do well, and they will hope to make the most out of some tricky opening fixtures against Burnley, Reading, Nottingham Forest, Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn.
There are no easy games in the Championship, but Bolton may take some encouragement from their run-in, where they may be slight favourites to edge out the likes of Charlton, Leicester and Sheffield Wednesday, though they end with a difficult game at home to Birmingham City.
