David Moyes’s first season in charge of Man United starts with a trip to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea City but his first home match sees the Scot take on Jose Mourinho as Chelsea travel to Old Trafford on the weekend of August 24th and is swiftly followed by a tricky trip to Anfield.
The Christmas period sees the Premier League title holders take on Hull City and Norwich City in back to back away fixtures two days apart and is followed by a home match against Tottenham on New Year’s Day.
The club’s final two fixtures of the season, which of course could prove hugely pivotal, are seemingly fairly manageable with United hosting Sunderland before ending the season away at Southampton.
