A look at some key games for new Millwall manager Steve Lomas.
Former West Ham midfielder Steve Lomas will take charge of his first job as a manager in English football this season with Millwall, and will be tasked with improving on their fight against relegation in 2012/13.
Although a slightly unpopular choice with a section of the Millwall fans due to his West Ham background, Lomas will have the chance to prove them wrong with results in some winnable opening fixtures against newly-promoted Yeovil, as well as Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday, though there will be tougher contests with Ipswich and Brighton to deal with as well.
Millwall narrowly avoided the drop last season, but could be boosted by a reasonable-looking run-in this year against the likes of Doncaster and Bournemouth, both of whom will be favourites for relegation back to League One this year.
