Colombian striker to hold talks over future.

Check in to Transfer Window: Done Deal Alerts

Tottenham striker target Jackson Martinez admits he is uncertain over his future at Porto this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The Colombian has had an excellent first season in European football, scoring 34 goals in 39 games for the club, and attracting interest from several of Europe’s big names in the process.

Spurs are said to be leading the chase for the prolific 26-year-old, as they are desperate to bring in new attacking options next season due to the poor form of Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe, as well as the possible departure of star player Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

Andre Villas-Boas’ side have also been linked with the likes of David Villa and Leandro Damiao, though deals appear to have stalled with these players, while Martinez has admitted he would be tempted by a move away from Porto in this summer’s transfer window.

“We have to talk a lot about my future,” he said.

“Right now, there is nothing concrete but yes, there are some options to leave this summer. I will contact Porto and then wait and see what might happen.”

Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund have also been tracking Martinez, as they both face possible departures of key strikers this summer, in Luis Suarez and Robert Lewandowski, respectively.
