Watford suffered heartbreak in 2012/13 as they were beaten in the Championship playoff final by Crystal Palace. Gianfranco Zola’s side will be among the favourites to challenge for promotion again this season and will be desperate to bounce back.
They have a difficult start to contend with though, as they start their season away to Birmingham, before further games against Reading, Nottingham Forest and Blackpool in August.
They have a decent run-in though, and will hope for a strong finish to the campaign against the likes of Ipswich, Queens Park Rangers, Derby and Huddersfield.
