Shakhtar Donetsk have revealed that they are willing to listen to offers for Liverpool target Henrikh Mkhitayran according to The Daily Mail.

The Armenian midfielder has been highly impressive for the Ukrainian side in recent times and has played an integral role in the club’s recent successful Champions League runs.

Those performances have not gone unnoticed with a number of Europe’s top sides thought to be monitoring his availability.

The likes of Juventus, PSG and Manchester City have all been linked with his signature in recent months but eyebrows were raised last week when it appeared that Liverpool had stolen a march on their rivals and were close to securing a deal.

Shakhtar chief Sergei Palkin has moved to pour cold water on those reports, insisting the club have so far received no offers for the player.

Mkhitaryan hit the back of the net 25 times last season for the Shakhtar and while he remains highly valued at the club, it is thought that a bid of £22 million would be enough to prise him away from Eastern Europe.

It is thought that Shakhtar are reluctant to sell having already seen Willian and Fernandinho leave recently but would be willing to do a deal should the price be right.
