Luna has signed for Villa on a three year contract.
Aston Villa have completed the signing of Sevilla left back Antonio Luna according to Sky Sports.
The club have paid an undisclosed fee for Luna and the left back has signed a 3 year contract at Villa Park.
Luna only played four times for Sevilla before being loaned out to Real Mallorca and the defender is now excited at the chance to play in the Premier League.
“I’ve always believed that I could play in the Premier League and to have this opportunity with a club as historic and huge as Aston Villa and with a manager who is building a squad of young players with great prospects is tremendously exciting for me,” Luna told the club’s official website.
Luna becomes Villa’s fifth signing of the summer with Paul Lambert looking to bolster his squad following the clubs brush with relegation last season.
Just two days ago he signed Nicklaus Helenius from Aalborg and has brought in centre back Jores Okore, midfielder Leandro Bacuna and Bulgarian midfielder Aleksandar Tonev.
Lambert also looks set to sell some players this summer to, with England international Darren Bent likely to leave following a frustrating season which was spent mostly on the bench.
Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Swansea are all interested in signing Bent and may have to pay £6 million for his services.
