With Carlo Ancelotti looking more and more likely to replace Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid, the Italian has started asking the club to sign his transfer targets according to Marca.

Ancelotti wants to sign Brazilian international Paulinho, who has attracted the interest of Tottenham and Inter Milan.

According to reports, Real Madrid have an advantage over the likes of Inter Milan because they can pay Corinthians the transfer fee in full, whereas Inter are looking to pay it in instalments.

However, it appears that Inter are still favourites to sign Paulinho after the player spoke about an agreement between himself and the club.

Madrid aren’t going to give up though and are even considering offering Kaka to Corinthians as part of the deal.

Ancelotti is known to value the Brazilians hard work and ability to move up and down the pitch.

Ancelotti looks set to become Madrid’s new manager when his current club Paris St Germain finally find another man to replace him.

PSG  had seen Spurs boss Andre Villa-Boas as their number one target but the Portuguese manager has rejected an approach from PSG, preferring to stay at Tottenham.

PSG’s next target could be former Real boss Fabio Capello, who is the current manager of the Russian national team.
