Brazilian stopper not on the move.
The agent of Paris St Germain defender Thiago Silva has denied that the club have received any bids for his client as speculation surrounding his future continues, Sky Sports reports.
The Brazilian defender only joined the Parisian big spenders last summer from AC Milan and rumours of his exit have continued to fly ever since the final ball of the season was kicked last month with Barcelona said to be leading the charge, whilst his former side back in Italy have also been credited with an interest in bringing him back.
However, the player’s agent, Paulo Tonietto, has denied that there has been any contact from anybody.
“There has been no official contact,” he told French newspaper Journal du Dimanche.
“Thiago is happy in Paris and will remain there. His future is at PSG.”
Silva is currently with the national team competing in the confederations cup and can reflect on a successful maiden season in Ligue 1 having helped PSG to their first title win in 19 years as well as a run to the quarter finals of the Champions League by making 34 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
The 28-year-old has so far remained quiet on what his future may hold.
