Anfield side keen to bring in Nou Camp starlet on loan deal.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is hoping to lure Barcelona attacker Gerard Deulofeu to Anfield this summer according to the Daily Mail.
Nou Camp boss Tito Vilanova may be ready to listen to offers for the 19 year old as a loan spell overseas could help provide the youngster with some much needed playing experience.
The Spanish Under 20 international will find it hard to force his way into Barcelona’s first team set-up given the amount of top talents ahead of him in the Catalan giant’s pecking order.
Deulofeu can play either as a striker or out wide but has to find his way past Lionel Messi, Neymar, David Villa, Alexis Sanchez, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Cristian Tello in order to see any playing time at the La Liga title holders.
Rodgers has brought in Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas from La Liga this summer and could be keen to further strengthen his attack.
Tottenham are also said to be keen on the teenager who is currently on international duty at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup Finals in Turkey.
Deulofeu has managed just two La Liga appearances for Barcelona.
