Napoli striker Edinson Cavani are reportedly urged his parents to stop discussing his future according to The Daily Mail.

The Uruguayan forward is currently one of the hottest properties in football and is set to make a mega-bucks move to one of the game’s biggest sides this summer.

The likes of Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with the player’s signature and it seems to be a matter of time before the player moves after Napoli President Aurelio Di Laurentiis admitted Cavani has a minimum fee release clause in his contract.

That clause is believed to stand at around £53 million, which many point to as the reason why Cavani currently remains a Napoli player, but with a number of clubs already in negotiations with the Serie A side, it appears likely that Cavani will move sooner or later.

That has sent the press into a media frenzy with everyone trying to find information on Cavani’s preferred destination.

Reporters have managed to secure quotes from his parents on a number of occasions, often suggesting that Cavani is set for a move to Real Madrid.

That has prompted the striker to urge his parents to keep quiet about his future as he feels they are currently having a harmful impact on the whole process.
