Roma playmaker and Tottenham target Miralem Pjanic has played down talk that he could leave the Serie A club for Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Bosnian international has attracted a lot of interest this summer with his fine displays for Roma, scoring 4 goals and providing 8 assists in the 2012/13 season, and is supposedly seen by Dortmund as an ideal replacement for the departing Mario Goetze.

The German attacker has already been confirmed as leaving Jurgen Klopp’s side for treble winners Bayern Munich, and the Bundesliga and Champions League runners-up have been keen to bring in someone else to play in his role behind the main striker.

Dortmund have already tried for Chelsea’s Kevin De Bruyne, though he seems set to be given a chance in the starting lineup at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho, and are also said to be pursuing Ajax star Christian Eriksen.

Pjanic is the latest name to be linked with the club, and is one of several Roma players being targeted by bigger clubs this summer, but like his team-mate Erik Lamela, he has committed his future to the club for the time being.

“I feel good in Rome,” he said. “And at this point I do not know if I will leave the club this summer.”
